NEW BUSINESS MANAGER

You will be responsible for delivering repeatable, scalable and profitable growth for TPE according to an agreed business plan. Your role will be target-driven, using emotional intelligence and high-quality targeted research to create new contacts for the agency. You will take new contacts through the purchasing funnel up until the point RFPs or briefs have been received.
You will work closely with our Head of Client Services to refine the New Business Plan, inform the proposed strategy and translate it into tactics and action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed target profiles informed by the New Business and Growth Development Plans
- Research and identify key contacts within target prospect organisations
- Qualify contacts and convert to leads
- Pursue identified contacts through meetings, networking, show-walking, emails, social media and other desk research
- Uncover profitable new business leads and/or pitch opportunities
- Secure credentials and briefing meetings – subject to nature of lead this may be done alone or in conjunction with members of the leadership team at TPE
- Build awareness of our agency value proposition within target sectors and profiles
- Build a solid pipeline of new leads and opportunities
- Maintain and build solid relationships with new leads and potential prospects ensuring that all client’s needs are heard, understood and addressed in a timely manner
- Maintain relationships with leads throughout opportunity process and on successful outcome of opportunity, retain relationship with contact from a business development perspective. (The project itself will be handed over to a client servicing team)
- Utilise or evolve existing marketing assets including creds and case studies to help with contact, lead and opportunity generation – subject to nature of lead this may be done alone or in conjunction with members of the leadership team at TPE
- Support in the compilation of RFI’s and RFQ’s in relation to opportunities
- Support in the creation of proposals and related documentation
- Record all interactions and company insight in the agency in-house CRM system
- Ensure quality processes and tools are incorporated into all daily activities, provide pipeline activity and status reports on a weekly basis
Key Competencies and Behaviours:
- You’ll have strong commercial acumen and take complete responsibility for building a solid pipeline against agreed targets
- A minimum of x10 years’ experience in a business development role
- A minimum of x5 years’ experience within the events industry
- You will have a proven track record in the events industry and an understanding of strategy, creative and production delivery
- You are an excellent communicator and a proactive team player; you will be an ambassador for the TPE brand
- You’ll have the ability to provide guidance to clients regarding the full range of services offered by TPE
- You are a self-motivated thinker and doer, with a drive for success and unbound enthusiasm for lead generation
- You are hungry for success and ambitious, confident not arrogant

Producer

The Producer will lead across a broad range of pitches and projects from brief to execution.
You will work closely with the Head of Client Services as new pitches come in, to scope the project and lead the pitch process when necessary. You will liaise closely with the pitch team to deliver winning solutions on time and on budget.
You will have responsibility for live projects. You will interrogate the brief, scope the project, resource the project in collaboration with HODs, allocate and manage resource and budget. You will supervise the project team to ensure that all work delivers against agreed objectives and surpasses our client’s expectations. You will work with production teams to deliver even the most ambitious events in the most efficient, cost effective and creatively robust way.
We pride ourselves on our robust infrastructure, systems and processes. You will champion these processes across the company and be responsible for ensuring events are delivered to brief, budget and deadline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams to respond to RFP’s and deliver winning pitches
- Lead the creative process
- Build cost estimates with the pitch team’s input
- Present pitch proposals to new clients
- Budget ownership and management – delivering to agreed financial targets
- Supplier negotiation
- Create key documents, including presentations, schedules, briefing documents and status updates
- Lead and motivate our project teams to develop and deliver flawless events from creative concept through to onsite delivery
- Champion TPE policies and processes, drive compliance, quality and efficiency
- Build client relationships based on partnership and trust, focusing on becoming their partner and creating organic growth
- Attend site visits as required

Key Competencies and Behaviors:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the events industry, including previous agency experiences
- Proven experience in all types of events including conferences, roadshows, exhibitions and press events in the B2B sector
- Proven understanding and experience in all facets of a full-service agency including strategy, content, messaging and communication, creative, design, production and technical delivery
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Experience delivering medium/large scale events (budgets >£500k)
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You are great with people at all levels
- Good knowledge of the technical and logistical aspects of production
- Experience of film and video, digital and speaker support
- A good understanding of the principals of design and print, and a knowledge of layout and copy
- You keep up to date with the event/creative media industry and have a passion for new ideas and technologies
- The ability to write clear and concise copy
- A positive and can-do attitude with a collaborative approach to delivery
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organised and process driven
- A good multi tasker with the ability to set and work to deadlines across multiple projects, you are unfazed by tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Calm under pressure with the ability to manage upwards
- A proactive vs. reactive approach – constantly looking to add value
- Willing to travel

Production Manager

ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager, with direct experience in live event production, to work closely with the TPE team, taking each project through from initial brief to on-site delivery. You’ll work closely with designers and specify the technical requirements – scenic, lighting, sound – that will bring the design concept to fruition. You’ll be the one on-site who makes sure that everything comes together as it should, to create an unforgettable event.
Some key requirements:
- Working knowledge of scenic, rigging, lighting, audio and video required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organisation, planning and scheduling skills
- Commercial/financial production management skills
- Good numeracy skills to include foreign currencies
- Operational/viewing knowledge of AutoCAD/Sketch-up
- Health and Safety knowledge
